Micro Hyper Barrel Swivel - Micro Hyper Swivels can be used for any application to eliminate line twist. They come in a full size range from a tiny #14 (about ¼" length) to a #1 rated at 410 lbs. These are made from stainless steel to obtain the premium strength at the smallest size. These swivels rate higher in strength by size than virtually anything else on the market.

RIO’s Micro Swivels are the perfect accessory for reducing line twist when casting large, wind resistant flies.

Adding a swivel between the tapered section of your leader and the tippet allows the tippet and fly to spin without twisting the rest of your system, resulting in smooth, tangle-free casting all day long.

Swivels are also useful in long indicator leaders used in stillwater. By adding a swivel, the angler can add weight and also create a “stopper” for a dropper leg and fly to rest on after a fish has taken the fly.

RIO’S FLY CLIPS are ultra-fast, easy connection clips that allow anglers to change flies with extreme ease and speed, and prevents leaders and tippet sections getting too short. Simply tie the appropriate sized clip on to the end of your leader and either twist or clip on your fly. Multiple sizes of clip ensure that there is a clip size suitable for the majority of fly sizes. RIO recommends the Twist clips for larger streamers and Salmon/steelhead patterns, and the RIO Clip for smaller dries, nymphs and soft hackles. Tippet Rings are small, very strong and  lightweight, and make rigging and tippet replacement fast and easy

A leader with a tippet ring turns over perfectly, and they are light enough to use when fishing dry flies. Just tie the tippet ring to a leader with a clinch knot, and then add the required tippet in the same way. Tapered leaders last longer with a tippet ring as the leader will not be shortened every time the angler replaces the tippet. Tippet rings also make it extremely easy to add droppers, and are an excellent choice for European Style Nymphing and for Indicator nymph fishing.
