CAC steelhead beads are exclusive and unique. Most are painted and prepped in-shop in unique fish catching colors. We also Offer bead kits in the "Ontario Selects" or "New York Selects" assortment, complete in a 18 compartment box containing 270 beads in 9 colors in 8 & 10mm size,complete with an Identity label for easy referencing and refilling your bead-box. Our beads are finished in various Iridescent or matte finish as shown. We also offer the refill packs to replenish your stock or just add to your personal selection. C.A.C. steelhead beads may be rigged using a trout bead knot or pegged with a toothpick. We also offer the silicone pegs(listed above) which make rigging a breeze. When rigging and drifting beads .. the bead is usually held at a distance of about 1-2 inches above the hook to avoid foul hooking or injuring steelhead. Beads offer an excellent stray single egg presentations and also complement in tandem rigging(where allowed- Check your regs) to other lure and bait enticing-rigging. These may also be used for rigs and heads on steelhead jigs, using our strong jig pins, quality jig hooks, marabou or rabbit fur creating steelhead jigs and or lures. M. I. in USA & Canada. We supply the top 9 selling colors in two sizes. 18 packs of beads, Total 630 beads in 8 & 10mm or 810 in 6 & 8mm, plus we include our CAC clear-view 18 sompartment bead box as shown. All you do is just make it up in the color order you want and fill as you need.

Tapered double end design. Place your line through the bead hole , the Insert peg in the hole and pull to hold bead tight on the line. Easily holds bead in place and not move or slide during a drift. Bead easily can slide on the line and hold firm where needed.

Some other ways to rig a bead. To read fine print-instruction in the illustrations bellow, just place your mouse pointer on any pic.

Run your leader through the bead hole and back over and around through the hole again, so you're gone through twice-Hook will be tied to this end.

Wrap the hook end through the hoop 7 or 8 times.

Next lube and pull tight and the wraps will disappear into the bead hole.

Finished product with your bead aproximately 2 inches from the hook. Recomended Hook/Bead sizes..#10 Scud/6mm #8 Scud/8mm

" Pegging" is just jamming a toothpick inside the bead hole and breaking off the excess off, and thereby holding the bead above the hook at your desired distance.
